Terms of Service

Operator: Persona ("we", "us", "our") is developed, owned, and operated by Aaradhya Anurag Badal, an individual sole proprietor based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Persona website, web application, and mobile application (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility & accounts

  • You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use the Service.
  • You are responsible for the activity that occurs under your account and for keeping your login credentials secure.
  • You agree to provide accurate information when you register and to keep it up to date.

2. Free trial, plans & payments

  • New accounts include a 7-day free trial with full feature access. No payment information is required to begin the trial.
  • After the trial, continued full access requires the Premium plan. Premium is offered as a recurring monthly subscription of ₹380 / month (approx. USD $4), or the equivalent price shown at checkout, on both the web app and the mobile app. The exact price and billing model are always displayed at the point of purchase before you pay.
  • Automatic renewal: monthly subscriptions renew automatically each month and your payment method is charged at the start of each billing period until you cancel. Pricing may change for future billing periods with advance notice; if you do not accept a price change, you can cancel before it takes effect.
  • You can cancel at any time from your account settings; cancellation stops future renewals, and you keep access through the end of your current paid period.
  • Payments are processed by our third-party payment provider (Razorpay). We do not store your full card details on our servers.
  • Free accounts may be subject to usage limits (for example, a daily cap on the number of tasks created).

3. Refunds & cancellation

Because a full-featured free trial is provided before any payment, subscription charges are generally non-refundable for the current billing period, except where required by applicable law. You can cancel at any time to prevent future charges. Full details, including EU/UK withdrawal rights, are in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other users' accounts, or our systems.
  • Interfere with, disrupt, overload, or reverse-engineer the Service or its underlying infrastructure.
  • Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Service without our written permission.

5. AI-generated classifications

Persona uses third-party AI models to classify tasks and assign XP. These classifications are generated automatically and provided "as is." They may be imperfect or inconsistent, are intended for motivational and organizational purposes only, and should not be relied upon as professional advice of any kind.

6. Your content

You retain ownership of the tasks, notes, and other content you create ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display Your Content solely to operate and improve the Service, including transmitting task text to our AI provider for classification.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, including its design, branding, and software, is owned by Persona and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to our trademarks or branding.

8. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Persona shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of the Service, and our total liability is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from the app's settings. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or use the Service in a way that could cause harm to us or other users; where reasonable, we will notify you and give you a chance to export your data.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, give you reasonable advance notice (for example by email or an in-app notice). Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute — except that if you are a consumer in the European Union, the United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction whose law grants you non-waivable consumer protections or the right to bring proceedings in your local courts, nothing in these Terms deprives you of those protections or that right.

12. General

  • If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in full effect.
  • Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later.
  • You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a transfer of the Service.
  • These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and Refund & Cancellation Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service.
