Cookie Policy

This policy explains how Persona uses cookies and similar technologies (localStorage, pixels, SDKs) on our website and in the web application, and how you can control them.

Strictly necessary (always on)

  • Authentication — Supabase session cookies/tokens that keep you signed in.
  • Local app data — localStorage (key persona-v1) holding your tasks and progress on your device.
  • Consent record — localStorage entry remembering your cookie choices.
  • Payment session — cookies set by Razorpay during checkout to process your payment securely.

These cannot be switched off because the Service cannot function without them. They do not require consent.

Analytics (consent required)

  • PostHog — product analytics events and pageviews (e.g. ph_* keys).
  • Google Analytics — site usage statistics (e.g. _ga, _ga_* cookies, up to ~2 years).

Marketing (consent required)

  • Meta Pixel — advertising measurement and audience building (e.g. _fbp cookie, ~90 days).

Support (loads on use)

  • Crisp chat — sets cookies to maintain your chat session when the support widget is enabled.

Managing your choices

  • On your first visit, a consent banner lets you accept all, reject non-essential, or choose per category. Non-essential cookies are not set until you consent.
  • You can change your mind at any time — open — withdrawing consent stops future tracking and we drop the related cookies where technically possible.
  • We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal as an opt-out of analytics and marketing cookies.
  • You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the Service's essential features will keep working.

Third-party cookie lifetimes and data practices are governed by the respective provider's policy: Google, Meta, PostHog, Crisp, and Razorpay each publish their own cookie documentation.
